if i were to do a 3sgte swap into a 88 celica what trannys could i use and how much do they run

 

you can use the gts trannies.

 

i know about nissans so yea lol u know how much they run

 

well if you only know about nissan's, i think you should do some studying before you do this swap. just my .02 anyways here is a site with prices.

make sure that when u get it you tell them to include everything ecu n all sometimes they don't ship it i did a swap a while back and i had to buy everything seperate u also will need to make sure that it's from a reliable site like said before^ do the proper research since ur coming from nissan's 3sgte's are the shit gl with ur swap

 

i have wanted to do this swap for awhile i had an 87 celica with a 5s swap before and it was pretty quick but when i started to save i wrecked my car now 3 years later i am startin to save again i got an 88 for free with a blow motor so i wanna do the swap asap

 

if you get the mr2 3sgte and tranny i will find a 88 v6 camry/es250 tranny and swap you even for it axles and all...which is what you will need to do the swap...you will also need the 88 alltrac wiring harness,alt mount,motor mounts,powersteering pump,belts and bottom pulley...if you get the alltrac 3sgte the tranny is basically worthless and useless for the fwd swap

 

Yeah my buddy ran a 99' V6 solara transmission in his Half-trac, i think his car dynoed at 244WHP @ 14psi
