I ran into a few fellow old school TR members the other day and they said they were wondering what I have been up to and that I've been playing a more silent role. So, I'll share this with you all as well

I picked up another AE86 from a fellow TR member and made the decision to restoring it's honor....

It is a 1985 Toyota Corolla GT-S Hatchback.
It currently has:
4AGE 16V Twin Cam motor
Megan Racing Cat Back Exhaust
Megan Racing Lowering Springs
OBX Headers
HKS Intake
H4 bi-xenon 8000k in projector headlamps
Cross Drilled Disc Brakes
84 vw GTi Recaro front seats
JDM Kouki Front bumper
Ae92 Modded side skirts
15x8 Sportmax 002's on new Kuhmo AST 195/50/15

I have begun by taking each piece of sheet metal and stripping it down to bare metal. Much to my surprise, there is very little rust so far. Not only has the outer sections been stripped and prepped, but also their undersides as well. I have deleted the antenna hole in the fender and have corrected any blemishes such as dings and dents.









The front panels have been primed and aligned. The doors, door jambs and interior metal panels are next.




Every inch of the interior will be lined by dynamat for that solid, quiet, low exterior noise ambiance.
