Hey I'm new to the site and I been searching long and hard for any alternative ways to boost up my 92 celica gt. I'm not looking to spend money on an engine swap unless I can get it done for less than what I've been seeing. I seen a few sites that sell turbochargers and whatever but at those prices I can buy an Alltrac lol. So if anyone knows of anyway I can at least boost up to 200hp that will be great I'm not looking for big performance for now. Any help would be appreciated

 

You are not going to get that out of a 5s-fe. A swap is the only way to get there or add a turbo which is not recommended on the 5s. But if you want to try it all you need is stock turbo manifold and turbo from an mr2 or alltrac. And some kinda tunable ecu. Im not sure if you can get 200 out of all stock setup with 5ibs of boost on stock ecu. If you want to chat some more Ill be at the jdmdreams car show sat the 17th (tomorrow). buy some stock 3sgte parts, shit i might have a few. the manifold from the 3sgte will bolt on the 5sfe.

Not 13's. i would say a good 14 on a stock swap. Theres really no way to get much power out of the 5sfe. Just give it a tune up and enjoy the great gas mileage. No one wants to drive around paying 4 bucks for the cheap shit.

 

nelson, i'm talking sticky tires and 16 psi. not stock boost and 18's with 205 tires on em.
