like i said its a 4afe. look at the 1st numbers and letters on the block. it starts with 4a, if it was a 3s or 5s those would be there instead of the 4a.

Well if the intake manifold says 2200 efi the that is the 5s. Does the motor stand straight up ( 4afe) or slant back towards the fire wall (5s-fe) Also you can look undr the hood and the info sticker and on the lower right corner i beleave it will tell you the engine code. 90-93 celica gt only came with the 4a or 5s engines. I have a gts which only came with the 5s. Where are you located at?

 

you can put 88 gts on the 5s motor and it would be a lil bit more powerful intake mani is the main problem though

 

the 2200 is in the car now and the 4a is sittin on the floor in my friends shop so i dont know if it sits strait up or tilts like the 2200

 

the 4a site strait up, only the s series motors are tilted

 

Oh I wasnt follow I guess. Didnt realize that you had 2 motors. My bad Bill wasnt tested you Knowledge. Just confused. As far as doing the swap to a 4a. Dont know much about it.
