Default Something for you Toyota/Lexus guys with a 1UZ

Take a look, this is only one side, the other will follow in the next couple of days. This setup is made to be used in a Lexus SC400 with the 1UZ V8. We will also be test fitting the manifolds on LS400, etc.

The manifold on the left was someone's attempt to make something they really didn't know how. We perfected it.

Probally BMC race on the flanges or maybe they got them CNCd

Look like turbo headers as no merge would make those perform horrible on anything without FI

i hope so too, i looking at this before thinking....(dream sequence) "wouldn't equal length tubular headers be more exciting for the 1uz guys..." then my brain though "aaa turbo maybe?" (end dream sequence)... so whats the story? twin turbo 1uz?

I'd say large single , twins are over rated lol ..

Technically equal length stepped header would be better for a turbo manifold too but space constraints and power potential outweigh those lol

Congrats on all the success Bill!

This is for a twin turbo application. Welding is done in house, Danny was the welder for this job. We currently have 3 fabricators on staff.

The flanges were supplied to us by TTC Performance Products in Orlando, FL (contracted us to build these manifolds); however, we will be cutting out own flanges shortly here.

I read over the comments briefly, a full tubular setup is virtually impossible on this setup, due to the lack of space.

Keep your eye on this thread -

Cool to see stuff being made for that motor.

A good friend of mine wants to do some work on his SC430, i don't really know much about them but i'm assuming they have a newer version of the same motor? You guys going to be doing anything with them or? If you guys want a guinea pig let me know

The OEM ones were interchangable. Not so much anymore I guess..

This is sweet though. Worst part of the 1UZ is the restrictive exhaust manifolds. Also, do those end at a V-band?

Looks really nice though, excellent work guys
