my gs300 na-t has seen private shops, freelance guys, as well as the dealership it all depends on what you need done.

around Tampa there are tons of awesome options.

Titan in Orlando makes monsters and is great with 2jz's
Xat and DC both have grade A reputations
Grip automotive is Grip Industry and is over in Melbourne and they make some monsters as well.

freelance guys you just have to run across. the freelancers that have worked on my car are not longer in the area. kirk is about the only one i know of in the area thats a 2jz specific guy i have never worked with or even met him but i have never heard a bad thing about him or his work.

There the ONLY shop i'd trust with making a serious 2J.
+1. No other local shop has 2JZ experience like Titan does. I would stay away from any other shop other than XAT or Turbo Toys for simple work on the 2JZ's.

When it comes to the best people who have specialized on 2JZ's for many years locally you will see that they do not work for shops.

Yeah, if it's simple tune-ups, dyno tuning, advice, minor repairs, etc., I'd say go to XAT. Anything big, it's worth the trip to Titan.

central floeida has a few places that do nice 2jz work. A+ for Grip and Titan. If I wasn't poor I would pay either to work on my supra.
