I have an 87 supra turbo. I have an upgraded turbo in it, (T4AR60 turbo). The turbo is causing my car to smoke. My question is do you know any turbo specialist shops in the Tampa area, that can repair my turbo? Let me know. Thanks.

 

So you have a T4 turbo with an A/R of 60 and the car is smoking? Can you take a pic of the turbo? My cousin works for a turbo rebuild center in Kissimee that can help. Let me know

 

Yeah. The mechanic has confirmed that it is the turbo. Probrably because of the oil seals. Pistons, rings, and valve seals were already replace. I'm really looking for a shop in the tampa area. I just want to know if somebody knows of one. But, you can pm me the location of that shop if you'd like, just in case I don't find anything.

 

Central Automotive on Ulmerton Rd in Clearwater. They used to only do turbo repairs, installs, etc but now they do all kinds of automotive work. I"ve had good luck with them...I think they can hook you up.
