so ya heres the story.
have a 78 rolla/ stock 3tc that ive driven maybe a year or a little more and all was well till i ripped my stock axles. Im just saving money to fix the rolla and restore and then some.
But for a graduation present the rents got me a 1990 celica gts thats super clean fully loaded power everything. and I was wondering if anyone knew any good tuning tips for this car or WHO ELSE HAS A CELICA?
i would just like to talk some more about the car itself( im not completely oblivious to the tuning options of the 5sfe turbo and 3sgte)

so ya ill try and get a pick soon, but ive been off my game and off TR alot since the rollas misfortune.

IM also looking to get a good quality hid kit( w/ballast) for the celica but dont want cheap kind at all. let me know of someone witha kit.

 

Congrats man! GTS are sexy!! I wouldn't do much tunning on the 5sfe. That engine is not worth the money you put into it. If you wanna hop up the celica, do suspension first. I would suggest a 3sgte or 3sge better. Not trying to veer you away from TR but you probably have a lot of questions IE your HID kit. Check out the haven for older celicas. That board is really 5th gen related. Plenty of guys running 3sgtes on there including me

Blue gt hatch is 100% stock no mods. Its DD. The silver is on stand alone. Putting down about 300. 60 trim turbonetics compressor with stock ct26 exhaust house.

No silver one i have also has a 2nd gen 3sgte. No video of my car but theres plenty on Ctech. I was gonna do a 3sge 2nd gen into the blue one since its my daily. I get about 15 mpg on the silver on
