My dad was driving through Arizona the other day, and his windshield caught a rock from a passing tour bus. It left a "bullet" sized crack in its windshield.

I do the fixing of my dad's car... I'll just buy one of those epoxy fix-it kits from Kragen and fix it myself.

Well, after two failed attempts at sealing the damage I've given up. I tried two different brands of epoxy sealants, but neither of them seemed to cure in 80+ degree weather.

I'm totally bummed, but it seems like the damage isn't spreading (yet... crossing fingers).

Has anyone had any luck fixing a bullet hole crack? If you're an FJ owner, it's almost inevitable that you'll get a crack sooner or later.

And one more thing..the mechanic told me to replace new toyota windshield water tank, is it advisable? Thanks in advance!!!
