Default Buying a '91 Corolla...

Hey, I'm buying a '91 Corolla 4-door 5-speed. It'll be the car I use to get to and from work until I gain enough money for a brand new car. In the meantime, I want to make my Corolla the ultimate sleeper. What can I fit under the hood that'll give me a powerful RWD setup?

Um, your corolla is fwd and not rwd. Anyways, you can throw in a 4AG(Z)E motor in there. Its a straight bolt in and all you have to do is wire it up which is not bad at all.

That's what I'm here for...does anyone know what can fit in a '91 Corolla that would make it a nice, powerful RWD sleeper econobox?

It's going to be a long time until then. You know what? Here...maybe this'll jog some creative minds out there.

Let's change the situation...

I have my eye on another car, but I have to use the Corolla to earn the money until I can buy the other car. In the case that the car I want is sold, I may just stick with the Corolla. If I do, what would I have to do to make it a RWD econobox?

its not that hard all you have to do is completely redesign it. how hard can that be just a custom IRS rear or even a solid axle, completly custom steering and front suspension ohh and engine bay, x-member, transmount, floor shifter position after your done youll only be in about 9 g's in the chassis alone. why would justify makign the car RWD just to be an ECONOBOX. plus wut motor are you cgoing to put in tehre who gonna wire it(not that its gonna be hard in a corolla),wut rear, now that you know wut you have to do who is going to do it. these are simple things youo dont need to be too smart to know i mean come on.

just buy a RWD corolla if you want it to be cheap reliable daily driver by an early 80-82 with a 3TC. if you want it to look like newer car then oyur fucked.
