Depends. Where are you buying the headgasket and bolts from? I would seriously consider going with a cometic headgasket and ARP studs if you plan on modifying the car. You can use a Felpro gasket if you really want to, but do some research on these cars and see for yourself about the troubles they have with overheating. The major problem is in the tq specs, but I'm assuming you don't want to do that stuff. That's probably why you're asking for help. You also have to remember, the car overheated........You REALLY need to take the head to a machine shop to make sure it's even a good head. Once you know that, have them resurface it. It's also imperitive to check the block surface. It's a big job for someone who's not used to doing it, and also can be costly if you don't have all the info the first time. Feel free to pm me or email me if you need anything. My email's RTASupra@gmail.com

Hope that helps,
Eli

We work at Tyrone Mazda, we have a toyata certified tech there, he is doing a extensive diagnostic before we buy anything, but we will see what he says, he already has the head off the car and such, but he left for the day, we will know tomorrow or monday

sometimes a toyota mechanic isnt good enough with supras honestly.

if he goes by the book you WILL have the same problem sometime down the road. quite possibly very soon.

you must RESURFACE the head and you should really use a cometic mhg an some arp studs torqued to around 85 ft/lbs.

theres lot of other little things but those are the main points. the block surface must be cleaned VERY well at the same time and check for cracks as they like to develop between water jackets...
