Default aw11 ?'s

with a simple turbo setup could i just use safc?
i running all the components in the trunk area, like cut a hole in the bottom trunk area, run a pipe from the exuast into the trunk with the turbo sitting in there, then run the down pipe right back out, run the charge pipe right into the intercooler then the intercooler to TB pipe just goes into the stock inlet, but all the piping will be hard piping until it gets to the maf.

i will think of various ways to keep everything cool, possibly some kind of fan setup to draw all the hot air surrounding the turbing housing out of the bottom, maybe some bike radiator fan directly on the IC would help including some heat wrap on the compressor/DP area. its not going to be done to look pretty but i want it to hold up for a while, i want to run a T-25 at about 6/7 pounds with a safc if possible. my 4ag has about 113k but its very very strong.

im also looking for coilovers, d2 made some but im pretty sure they are discontinued.

heres a list.
T-25
t-25 flange
misc pre-bent tubing
hoses and clamps
oil lines
misc bov
misc IC
older safc
small rubber suction tubing for bov/wastegate actuator

and suggestions on a good place for pre-bent tubing and hoses? welding? should i run bigger injectors? who should i go to to help me with tuning the safc? where can i find an older safc?

i know on mkii mr2s the air comes from the bottom and exits through the top of the engine lid... i dont know if mki's are the same or not... as far as the turbo in the trunk that sounds like more work than you would need to do... people have done a 3s in the mki so im sure you could fit a turbo in there

check out mr2oc.com theres a whole lot of info on there

i looked at many different places for the piping/turbo/IC locations and the trunk is the most simple place. theres a vid on youtube with the same setup and it looks like it runs fine, i just want to keep the airflow extra cold so ill be using variations of e-fans and heatwrap to keep it that way. im just gonna use unversal pre-bent tubing from my work and have sandys shop weld everything up. im gonna go with a old super safc, that seems to be the easyest way. now i just need the perfect sized intercooler, i found a t-25 a.r 47 i belive it is, that should work fine for now.

someone post some pics of turbo 4ag's please. im gonna run a gze 3 layer low comp cometic gasket as well and retard the timing. its not going to be perfect when i 1st set it up but it will run ok until i can spend my next check on tuning. im looking to get into the 175hp area without the gasket, and possibly 200+ when i do the cometic gasket and arp studs.

take 4ag out, insert 4agze, sell 4ag, sell supercharger and other peices, buy t25 or ct26, buy manifold off ebay and re-inforce the welds, use piggy back.
orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
buy manifold off ebay re-inforce welds, buy ct26 or t25, buy gze injectors/mkiii/mkiiii/3sgte/whatevers cheaper (prolly gze's), buy walbro pump or use TII/Supra turbo fuel pump, buy a safc or somthing to compensate for your new injectors and pump, id go with a FPR just to be safe too, use a topmount off a GZE or 3SGTE and get piping made or use a starion fmic, buy a bov, keep it at 5-7pnds. for insurance i'd get some ARP headbolts and rod bolts/thicker headgasket, gasket kit, replace or inspect rod bearing wear, and you have yourself a pretty reliable, turbo 4ag, with roughly 150-170 hp. goodluck it's not as expensive as you would think

maby i should of read this first lol. your going to need cams for over 170hp our tiny little 4ag cams are very small. also just use a topmount from a GZE and get piping for it, learn to use your safc and you wont need a tue , dude if your not going to get injectors then you wont need a safc anyways do it right and get injectors and a fuel pump,

cometic low comp headgasket, gze cams, arp studs, 500cc injectors, walboro, more refined exuast/down pipe piping and a turbo timer will be in the works for the 2nd stage of this setup. after that it should be good for 240hp or so without maxing the injectors.

Err not quite sure where you got making 240hp at but this guys setup:

have a boosted stock 4age ive been driving now 6o miles a day at 8 psi, heres my set-upt3 garett turbo for z31
ss autochrome manifold ( not cracked whatsoever )
custom 2.25 neck to 2.5 downpipe and open exhaust
7mge 315 cc injectors
adjustable FPR 5psi over stock
OBX FMU 12:1
still tock fuel pump ( putting on walbro 255lph soon when it gets warmer here in NY
custom intercooler and piping
dsm 1g bov recirculated to turbo inlet after AFM( more efficient and driveability )
8 lbs lightweight flywheel
act 4puck sprung ceramic clutch
manual boost controller
ARP headbolts
1mm cometic metal head gasket
fun to drive , although i dont know how much HP im making , i hope at least 170HP ill be happy.

Only pushing 170hp. And like i said i strongly reccomend getting cams if your wanting over 180-200hp

yeah i did some research and it seems the rods cant even hold over 180hp so ill have to build it before going with more boost. if anything ill just do my basic setup and just keep refining it.
