from the sounds of it that motor wasnt in too good shape with all the stuff he replaced on it. for 12g you could buy a highly modded mr2 with rims and everything. check out mr2oc.com you'll find some nice cars up for sale

yes, its nuts for a 91. The 93-94 are the big dollar ones.
