Toyota Celica Tampa meet / Dyno Day
Toyota Celica Tampa meet / Dyno Day
Date: April 7th
If you have parts you want to trade or sell bring them along.
I just relized that the 7th is the day before easter. The meet is still on but i am sure some of you have not relized this yet. Just letting you know.
Jlitman spoke with Justin (lowredcruzr), and he'd like to make his shop the offical meeting place. He's also planning to bring the grill and some food if folks are interested (he'll supply some beer, and others might be encouraged to get food and beer as well).
108 W Seneca Ave
Unit 113
Tampa, Florida 33612
Dyno will start at 11:00 AM and we will wrap up dynoing by 4:30 PM. If you are not going to dyno feel free to come along and talk as well as laugh at me doing my dyno on my stock GT-S. If you are just coming to the meet it will start around 4:30-5:00 PM. If everyone brings some food we should be able to pig out. So some people bring soda, chips, dogs, burger, beer for thoses over 21(remember not everyone is over 21(like me) so don't bring tons of it)lol, etc. We will have a grill and we can eat and talk and take pictures and stuff. Should be a blast can't wait. Spread the news around the more the merrier.
Here is who I have coming to the meet.
Let me know if I missed you and I will put on on the list.
Here is the information and prices for Dyno Day.
Casey at XAT Racing is offering a couple of great deals on dyno time:
Option #1: $30 for 2 dyno runs w/ wideband A/F reading
Option #2: $55 for 2 dyno runs 2 dyno runs w/ wideband A/F reading plus corner weight measurement (indicates weight at all four individual corners plus total) -- this will tell you your power to weight ratio (I'm doing this!)
Option #3: Supersaver option -- $25 for 2 dyno runs, but no A/F reading
If you have parts you want to trade or sell bring them along.

Is a '73 Porsche 914 welcome? I'm a former Celica owner; we'd like to get our Subie WRX swap dyno'ed sometime before the ECU is reprogrammed. This may be the perfect opportunity.
ultimately if I can buy new tires, get a new alternator and find the time to put on camber bolts and get an alignments I'll attend just to make sure the car still gots it lol. Once I do all that, will need paint job.
