how much are you willing to spend? i have one for sale.
40 over bore
port and polished head
double valve spring
over sized valves
small distributor with welded points already
chromoly pushrods and high performance lifters
hks metal head gasket
arp main studs
high volume oil pump.

all you need is a 6al msd and a pair of 40mm or 45mm side drafts, and you will have a very fun car to drive.

How much HP/TQ can you get from a built 3TC?

&&

Can you turbo a fully built 3TC with no problem? or is that not a wise choice?

those motors love boost! Iron block, no need to sleeve. i believe out of good balanced and shot peened stock rods you can push out 300 horsepower , or something around 15 lbs of boost? 3tcpwer your on toyota3tc.com can you back that up for me im not that sure....

he is right they do love boost, and they are really easy to get power out of with an N/A setup. actually i'm building a efi turbo 3tc with the haltech E6X.
i can't wait to get this bad boy done.

why dont you go witha 4age? what do you want the car for? a 4age will rev easier and come with like 7.5 stock redline. you can even carb it if you dont want to mess with efi.

I like that efi turbo 3tc idea, sounds fuckin sweet.

I want the car to be overall fun, not really straight line...

I was thinkin 4a but for some reason the 3tc appeals to me more, plus 4a's are getting more expensive cuz of all the drifting 86's
