need help 89 corolla alternator
ok the dd is down
junkyard alternator has been tested on more than one occasion at more than one spot, tests are all positive works great
ok driving down the road lights dim, and car dies, wtf?
need help
battery is good, its a gel cell and fully charged

Drive around the block. When it dies again, immediately put the volt
meter on it, or a test light. Find where you don't have 12v or don't have a ground.....maybe at the end of the cable away from the battery.
If the battery still has voltage, get some good terminals on freshly stripped clean wires, and it may solve the problem. Run all your grounds straight back to the battery instead of frame grounding.-Bob
