i can help you out if you want, but if it is an 83 i think you have the 1.6 4ac motor in it. you can swap a 3tc motor in there and go from there. my name is Rudo you can give me a call anytime and i will let you know who you can talk to about go fast parts or you can buy my N/A motor that i'm selling.oh this is a good site to start from Home Page

you need to find out whats wrong with it. if its got a blown engine or anythign work that wont let it run chuck the 4AC(if it is an 83) 80-82 all had 3TC's. sinceits an 83 you have a wide variety of swaps you can do 3TC and now have the advantage of rack and pinion steering or you can a 4aGE(which will be a direct bolt in) all you pretty much have to do is wire let it get fuel and drive it. you can even do other swaps(3TGTE,4AGZE,2TG,3SGTE this one is not soo easy,1/3UZFE this one is incredibly hard, 1/2JZGTE been done a few times, 7MGE/TE, same thing) the possibilties with it are endless.

Get a battery in it first, squirt some oil down the spark plug holes to lube the cylinder walls and see if it will turn over with the key.

Let us know what you find.-Bob
