ok well i have a ? when i start my car it will make a clicking sound some then it will stop when the car is warm i had it looked at and the guy said it is the lifters other then that the car runs great

sounds like it is the lifters. is this a car or motor the you just bought or going to buy and it was your first time starting it. usually when the motor sits for a while all the oil drains out of the head, when you start it again the oil will work its way back to the head and lubracate the lifter which will make it quiet again.
