the bosch spark plug has been use on the supra now. NGK was sold out from clearwater to tampa. oem head gasket was replace with HKS gasket and other oem gasket set for the supra.

this car was running normal speed, no race. no upgraded boost or anything. the supra is stock boost.

my buddy just called me and ask about the supra...and he said that he don't want to spent too much of cash.

 

did he use ARP's with the hg. Like I said before though, if he doesn't wanna spend a lot of cash, he may be in the wrong game

 

eli can you pull the stock head bolts and put studs in without pulling the head completly off and if i cant do that with studs what about arp bolts

 

i don't think my buddy got the arp bolts...he just replace the head gasket (HKS) that about it and oem gasket set...

without the arp bolt it will cause leaking oil?

 

do him just need the arp bolts, comestic hg and set of spark plug seal?

suggestion???

 

if he reused stock bolts thats problem number 1
if he used a hks mhg without any resurfacing whatsoever thats problem 2
if he torqued to the specs in the tsrm thats problem number 3

as i PMd you.... let me know and ill try to help out. however if he doesnt want to spend a lot of money...this car might not be for him. so this might be his chance to get out of the game....let me know if that happens also as i might be interested in the car.
