Default Need Help W/ Club4ag

I tried registering on the site, but never got an e-mail, and I sent an e-mail to the only address I could find, twice. If anyone here that's on those boards could send an admin over there a PM, tell them to activate the account Troux, or e-mail me (cbonnerm@aol.com) soon. I need help with my new car! Thanks!

I got a beat-up 1985 SR5 hatch. It's got 189K miles. Biggest problems first: Once in a while it dies at idle (didn't during my test drive), and I noticed the brake pedal goes a far distance before actually stopping the car. This problem is worst when coming off throttle, and not quite as bad when the engine is idling.

I'm thinking both of these problems are vaccum leak issues. If you ever get some spare time, I'll probably just need some help sorting things out, finding what goes where when I redo my vacuum lines. I don't plan on goign through the trouble of a 4AGE swap, as this is just meant to be a daily beater.

Anyways, if you got some time, it'd be good to have an AE86 expert like yourself come take a look at it!

Nice, how much did you pic it up for? The 4ac sucks some donkey balls but its decent for a daily.

It was cheap. I don't care about speed, really. Just MPG and reliability.
