Default Wow!!!!

OMG! Well after about 4 days of sitting on my ass yesterday i got up and decided to change my cam seal cause as you know i have had a nasty oil leak for the past 3 weeks or so. Well I took off the cam gears, valve covers, timing belt, backing plate, cam brackets, and cam seal. Then I proceeded to use ULTRA BLACK Permatext to seal the cam seal. I though i should do the other since i had everything off so i did. I TQ'ed all the bolts down to factoy specs and let the sealent sit for 24hrs. Well I go to start up my car today @ about 4:00pm and take if for a drive. Well fucking wow i get back and oil is STILL leaking from the backing plate and idk if its worse cause i hit a puddle and stuff was dripping but i know its still leaking and it sucks ass. Well basically what do you guys thing it could be? Its DEF! leaking from the backing plate and from the head. Im about to go buy some brand new cam seals and see if that was the problem but any input would be appreceated . Below is a picture of the finished sealed cam seals and how i did it (idk maby i did it wrong )

It's a very thin layer on the fronts and it didnt touch the cam. I also used the sealent on the back of the cam where it touches the head and the top where it touches the cam cap. Then i used it on the ends of the cam cap where it meets the head and then like i said just used a thin layer on the front of the cam seal.

Well after doing some intense diagnosing (poking my backing plate with a screwdriver) it's the same fucking seal! ! Well im going to a Toyota dealership tommorow to see if they have any (doubt it). Advanced Auto Parts has one IN STOCK but I dont know if I want to use an aftermarket seal or not. Any input on using an aftermarket seal? I've heard they are flimsy and that Toyota seals have a thick lip so it's easy to put them on without getting a folded lip.
