Well i am now into week one of the rebuild/buildup of the supra.
So far I have the engine pulled out of the car and the harness off.
upon pulling the transmission i have a trashed clutch and flywheel. That will need to be replaced. The engine is on a stand with the new single manifold on it. a t63 is chilling on it too!!! A tial 44mm WG is what i will have. Downpipe will be 4inch. I have the cams out and are having the 2jz turbo cams machined to fit in there place. I am REALLY thinking about pulling the head to get it port mached to the new header. I really think it will help considering the extreemly small ports on #2 and #5. Soon Ryan will be called apon to build the megasquirt. He is the man, no shitting. 720cc injectors will be in the mix. I have a bunch a pics that need to be posted. give me a day or so, I will get them up.

nice! my build is ~3 weeks in.... hoping to yank the 7M this weekend and mock up the mounts for the 2j... ill be playing with a p-shooter single for a while, until i get everything else situated, then im going GT...

i have a room full of parts waiting to go in..

thats what ryan built for my 20v ms1 v3.0 board im running edis but i wish i wasnt.. sequential cop is where its at .. 2zz coilpacks work for the 1j if im not mistaken..

 

I've heard of people using LS1 coils, IIRC it was on the 7M. There isnt really much benefit that was found in doing so and it seems more often than not, people that go MS also go ahead with EDIS. I'll probably end up doing so as well, as I'd much prefer COP
