Default aw11 mr2 questions

so I have an 87 mr2 5 speed with power windows, doors ect and t-tops and I also have an 89 mr2 automatic with all power and just a manual sunroof. so Im going to swap all the good parts, motor and wiring harness from the 89 to the 87 since its stick and t-tops but im just trying to figure out if the wiring harness from the 89 will work when i put it in the 87. I dont know if any of the control boxes like in the trunk and all that will change anything or if it will run? Im pretty sure the entire wiring harness is one piece so I'd have to change the whole thing and I've been looking for information on this so i can figure it out but the aw11 mr2's are hard to find anything for!! any help would be greatly appreciated before i start my major teardown

The 87 + Harness is direct swap .. 85-86 are different

Just unhook it completely up-too where the harness plugs in by the rear firewall area

alright, should I leave the control modules, like the square boxes that are mounted on the rear firewall, in the 87 and just swap the wires since one is automatic and one is manual?

You'll need the 5spd ECU out of the 89 to put in the 87 . All the other ECT A/T ECU boxes and ish you can throw away lol ..
