Default Buying a IS300

Hey guys i know this is the toyota thread, but lexus isnt on the map so i figured this was close enough...anyway...im gonna be buying a IS300 very soon, BUT i cant seem to find any manuals around here...are they that rare?? and also if i do get the tiptronic shifter is it the same as manual..i couldnt imagine it would be but if so let me know...and also i wanna turbo the car after i get it and drive it for a while...where can i get a kit for this spacific car?? thanks in advance.

Tiptronic is definately nothing like a manual. No clutch to begin with. Its no fun, I don't think I've ever seen a 6 speed one. Good luck finding one. I like those cars but I don't have 20k for one hehe.

if you plan to turbocharge, plan to build an automatic, or replace the W88 transmission with the r154 out of the MK3 turbo supras, with a 1jzbellhousing, or a V160 getrag 6 speed out of the MKIV supra turbo, they are strong as hell, you just wont break it, but they come with a pricetag to match!!!
