is there any difference with between the factory red coolant, and green, other than color?

According to toyota yes. I havent noticed anything.

main reason i ask is that i have tons upon tons of factory red stuff. and could use it for side projects, and in my nissan if its the same.
i know i get toyotas in all the time with green coolant and no problems.

i run the green in my supra, no problems, i might switch in a bit.my moms 03 camry runs the red, only diff i see is it runs so cool all the time, probally around the 3rd bar of C'

I believe the red is "long life" coolant. In my xA, it's good for 100k miles before a flush.

the pink is the long life 100k stuff.

Red is cleaner than green; the green stuff will corrode your metal over time. At least this is what I've been told by a Toyota tech.

any body know how the "Red" could affect a turbo car ? i need a flush and am just woundering about the info on this coolant

well ive been running the Red for 2 weeks now and i will say i have seen a significant difference...compared to the shit that was in it. needle doesnt even make it to the center anymore, it goes just underneath , runs cleaner , overall very pleased. $ 18 for a damn gallon from toyota
