I autocross mine. I'm buying Koni yellow's and Eibach's very soon, and then wheels and tires.

dont want to go with a better coilover system? Why the yellows? I used to have Tein SS's on my sentra and loved them... I will prolly stick with them for the tC.

I found a good deal on a combo of Eibach's and Koni's. I have heard from many people that Koni are the best shocks you can buy, plus the adjustability is a good feature.

For the coilovers I want, JIC FLTA-2's, I would be looking at spending nearly double what I would for springs and shocks. If I wish later I can always upgrade to Ground Control coilover's and re-use my Koni's, and I could change out the springs for different rates.

With most Japanese brands, you are screwed when it comes time to rebuild shocks. A least Tein does custom spring rates, though.

Dont forget, at autocross, shocks are fine, but springs jump you up a class, and coilovers put you in modified in most cases. HOWEVER if your running is STS you should be ok.

thats not true... Tein is fully rebuildable here in the states. They have a place in cali you can get them revalved. Im not sure about other brands... but i would imagine JIC is the same.

You would be correct, sir. Notice how I said the word MOST? Haha. Yes, JIC and Tein are both rebuildable in US, but then again, you have to take them off the car, ship them to Cali, wait for turnaround, etc. Sounds like hassle to me.

To 24-7: VVTi is constant..it's not like VTEC, there is not "hit",heh. However, the motor comes alive around 3.5k rpm and pulls strong from there. It's a good little engine.

To Slash: Right now I'm not doing the autocrosses competitively, just wanting to get good experince and see where me and my little xA can go.

hehe i remember when a chic let me driver her s2000. She said "rev it hard, wait till the vtec hits!" lol I was laughing my ass off once i "hit" vtech. It felt like i ran over a dog or something. I just felt like a little bump then i had to shift since i was like a 8k rpm. Back to the topic, nak1 do you have any pics of your Tc. I'm trying to talk my girlfriend into buying one of those, its that or a new Eclipse. I hate those...
