Default engine management for supra

i have a lexus sc300 im going to do a supra swap, i was wondering about the new AMP-ECU MAP engine management system, has anyone used this system yet, im looking for feedback maybe even horror stories if u have them.

this is andrew I am keeping the 2jz-ge and going to turbo it and using JE supra piston .20 over. has any one heared any thing about PHR MAP-ECU Is it any good and how Much HP can you throw at it If you have Know any thing about it post the info OR pm me

Like Kirk #2 said, not to many people finding luck with the PHR MAP ecu. Their have been some people who are OBD II that have had some luck but I haven't seen what kind of numbers they are putting out though. AEM is definitely the way to go if you want big numbers, 600+.

I know someone who has PHR MAP ecu and dont have any problems with it. But there running low boost and making under 600hp. If you want more info you could check supraforums.com for more info.

AEM is the way to go. Many tuners are now using it with no problems. It offers you everything in one nice little box and plugs right in. I've made over 800 hp on mine and it drives better than most stock ecu cars I have driven.

andrew post some pic's man I worked my ass off on that car show it off a little LOL

one of my tuner's has been talking alot about the mega sqrt. 2 setup and from what he has done with it has been impresive but also the good old VPC is a great way I think as well but all in all I would like to see the MAS go away... and cut it down to the basic's witch I know the EMS can do but the price of the mega2 and from what my tuner has pulled off with it I think it's worth concidering a bitut andrew you are the one with the deep pocket's LOL just tell me what you want and we will make it so buddy LOL
