Default So Jarco Finally called me...

And they got a clip in after 6 months, the clip has 120km on it which is almost 75k miles. Given how expensive these clips are from them, about $4000, what do you guys think? It seems like alot of mileage to me for the price, of course that's not to say that it's not in good condition, im just thinking down to road before I need to start replacing something. Just looking for some opinions.

Assuming it's a Gen 3, $4k is a premium price for one with 75k miles. It's not going to be in as bad a shape as a leaky gen 2 engine. Let's face it, you are paying a premium because it is from Jarco. The engine should be in good running shape. Does it have any modifications? Modifications could mean the engine was beat on. 75k miles isnt all that much for a toyota engine. Me presonally, I wouldn't pay that much, but you do get Jarco's reputation with your purchase.

Not sure if it has any modifications. Buying it from Jarco does give me a little bit more peice of mind. I guess, I'll have made my decision by monday. To 2 or not to 2, that is the questions...

You've still never said what gen it is. Also what else comes with the clip, hood fenders, bumper, dash? A 3rd gen GT-4 clip with hood, bumper, fenders and RHD dash and steering wheel just went for $3150 on eBay the other day. I thought that was a great price concidering what all was included.

That price is with an AWD transmission which is no good for an MR2. Check out Ron Swift on the board, appearently he has some in stock.
