i was just wonderin if any body has herd of swaping a motor from a 00 and up celica and puttin it in a 90 celica, gt or gts, i know the gts is 6spd and would need the tranny also. if any body has herd of such a thing, i would like to know how it came out, what the prica was and where i can get done professionally.

 

Use a 3SGTE from an mr2, much better power / aftermarket support, hell i seen a guy put one in a '00 celica

 

isnt that for rear wheel drive tho

 

Negative, 3sgte is a transverse motor, so it can be mounted in FWD or MR configurations. HOWEVER, it has been mounted as an RWD by a few.
