I was considering doing a engine swap for my 86 corolla sr5. it has the 4a-c engine in it now and is underpowered to say the least. what would be the easiest and cheapest swap to do? Also what would i need to complete the swap?

Does any one have an engine or any other parts i would need for this swap?

 

cheapest and easyest. 1st gen 4agec (blue top) from 84 to 87 ae86 gts. as far as i know youll need gts wire harness, gts cpu, gts exaust, gts gas tank(for the fuel pump) gts bell housing, isnt totally neccissary but youll have to do some serious heat wrapping cuz the clutch lines will run very close the the exaust. gts fuel lines, gts oil cooler, gts engine mounts, gts clutch assembly. possibly the ignition? theres prob other stuff im missin here, it sounds like a pain in the ass and it is no doubt. but its not all that bad, its well worth the money/labor. it can be done for roughly $450 if im not wrong.
