you can keep factory electric pump then get a holley 15psi regulator and it will work fine. running open webers will not hurt anything, but if you need filters call fisher buggies 813-837-6696 and ask for Raymond he will take care of you.

go to automotive engineering and see if they have one of those 100 micron filters or you can use the factory gts metel filter. i can tell you one thing Ray can tune those thing for you really good. just tell him that Rudo sent you to him.

Ray is the one doing the pressurizing on my 45 webers for my turbo set up. the guy knows his shit and he does not bullshit like alot of people in tampa.

or you could just go get a sr5 fuel pump and fuel filter, webers only need like 10psi of fuel pressure.

new to these boards and the 4ag but im not new to weber sidedrafts. holley regulator is good. but 10ps?? 2.5 to 4 psi sounds right to me. i think you can keep your fuel pump if you run split the line at the regulator and return it to the tank. that way you dont beat up on the diaphragm on the regulator. other than that... youre gonna need to jet em and tune em. get a synchro. ive done the sidedraft thing on a 20r/22r hybrid and it worked great. good luck.

i'm sorry bro but your dead wrong on that one... no disrespect. sr5 fuel pump?
i don't think so bro, first off the sr5 fuel pump is out cause it's a block mounted fuel pump, and if you put more than 5psi on a sr5 filter it will pop.
just do what i said above because i'm running a similar setup with my 3tc ae86. mine was a gts now it has a 3tc with webbers, and i'm using the factory gst fuel pump and a holley regulator and never had probs. do not run more than 4 to 5psi with that webbers other wise you will run into problems.
