Default 5e help

well i sent off my hybrid 5efhe/4efte, to get lower compression pistons put in, and i dropped my old 5e in, i've been driving her for over a week now, and today, i was @ a light and she started knocking. but she will only knock @ 2000 rpm's, not before, and stops knocking after 3500? what can it be? i dont think it's a main or rod bearing, cause than it would be knocking @ all RPM ranges. Help Please, i need to keep this motor up and running for the next 2 months @ least

The knock is most likely a rod. If the noise is at about 2k rpms, and you can manipulate the noise with light throttle inputs then it's definately a rod. Also see if you can eliminate or change the noise by killing one injector at a time. I would drop the pan, pull the bad bearing, polish the crank with emery cloth, install a new correctly select fit sized bearing with a plastigage. If the oil clearance is too high, check to see if you can install a bearing with a higher select fit size.
