Default Coilovers, worth the price?

Sometime in the near future I was considering getting some Tein springs for my xA.

But, Tein also makes some basic dampers that go for about $850.00. Tanabe, HKS and JIC also make coilovers.

Do you guys think they are worth the extra money? I would wait longer before getting coilovers so I could have the money. Thanks.

i hear the tein springs blow, they arent stiff and dont lower the car much, coilovers are def worth it. much stiffer, much better handling, adjustable height.

Once you go with coilovers, you won't go back. Having the flexability to adjust is awesome, and the ride is a completely different story. Coilovers get you much better road handling.

I put the JIC coilovers on and could not be happier. It actually rides smoother than stock with the dampening adjustment set to what makes you happy. Not to mention adjustable ride height. Save the $$ and go coilovers ..Once you get em they will go on every car you will ever modify.

Yeah..it's a big chunk of change but the ride hieght adjustablilty and plus the extra stiffnedd over springs alone seems awesome.

Tein colovers are $800.00 for my car...Tanabe are about the same.

i always wondered, how do you guys know your coilover is exactly at the spot you want it everytime you go adjust your coil overs?

and when you raise and lower the car, won't the alignment go off?
