is it possible to put a non turbo intake and non turbo ecu on a turbo motor. i have a 88 non turbo car with a 87 turbo motor.
any help with be really good

Nonturbo intake should work. Some people get civic intakes and so basic mods for them to fit. I'm 85% sure it'll work.

Nonturbo ecu....doubt it. I believe there were little changes between the 87 and 88, then they eventually made bigger changes, known as the 89+. Plus the minor differences between a MA71 and a MA70

Someone who knows what they are talking about needs to come in here...

you can get put the non turbo ecu on the turbo motor BUT.... you have to get a rrfpr(Rising rate fuels pressure regulator) and or something to control your fuel like safc2 if you go the rrfpr route you would have to get the fuel tuned right away because it would run insanely rich plus there would be no way to control thew amount of fuel being used. the easiest and cheepest way is to get a turbo ecu any mk3 year should work.

i just need the wiring harness for a turbo automatic then it will work ok if anyone has one let me know i have cash
