I LET IT LOOSE FULL THROTTLE
I PEGGED SPEEDO NEEDLE AT 110MPH (OF COURSE) IN 4RTH GEAR AT 5200 RPM
THAT LEAVES 5TH GEAR AND 2000+RPMS
CLOSE TO 9500+ RPM STILL TO GO

BUT I CONTINUED TO FLOOR IT ANYWAY AND IVE HAD MY CAMRY TOPPED AT 168 ON SPRAY SO I KNOW HOW FAST 170 IS
IT DIDNT FEEL ANYTHING LIKE THAT MAYBE ABOUT 135 OR 140

QUESTION IS WHAT THE HELL DOES MY COROLLA TOP OUT AT?

Well the T50's 4th gear ratio is 1.00 and the Celica Supra's final drive is 4.10 so not calculating in wind speed and aerodynamic losses 5000 RPM is about 82mph with 185/60/14 tires .

8000 RPM in 4th without windspeed etc. is about 132 MPH

Assuming the same in 5th with the T50's .86 5th gear ratio 8000 RPM is 153MPH ...

PS:

A stock motored Corolla will not do anything over 125MPH without some work done to it . 125 is probally all the basic bolt ons . The AE86 isnt the most aerodyanmic car on the road and its severely underpowered .

I never got mine over about 120MPH and that was in 4th gear for about 5mins over the bridge foot to the floor . Shifting to 5th slows the car down in most cases

well it depends on which rearend it is there are 3 of them well 6 actually but thqats besides the point a celica supra came with a 4.30 which i have a 4.10 and 82s came with a 3.737 the 4.30 will hit between 135 and 140 ish a 4.10 is like 150 to 160 is and a 3.737 is outrages just to give you an idea of what it does isn a celica supra redlining at 6000 rpm

well i know damn well it wsant 160, more like 130+

the car felt like it was about to fall apart to and the wind was beating the shit out of it

i would say that your camry only hit 140 to the most.

not to mention the damn thing pegs needle at 140 stock
