Default finally got the supra running pretty good!!

got a little preview of what Im in for today....I changed the plugs and re routed some of the vacuum that was wrong...and replaced the fpr (it had an na one in it) started it up and it still revs a little bumpy but when I drove it OMFG!!! what a differance!! I will say the car is a little overpowered for the brakes and tires on it right now...I almost wiped out a couple times it loves to throw the ass out when its getting into high boost as well :o In all I got my little preview of what it will be like today!!

oh god yeah! I knew it would be though...I just did my victory dance..eversince I first picked up the car I said my victory dance would be taking off the targa top and driving around..just got back While I was out I stoped at the muffler shop and got a 3' pipe installed running from the downpipe and out the drivers side sounds hawt now! and on us19 I got on it and its boosting way above the stock 8lbs...it pegged the boost gauge needle!! the wastegate has been shimmed...dunno if I should take em off or not.

Boost gauge needle? You mean the stock one, right? IIRC it maxes at 8psi and isnt too reliable anyways, but its all good, another downed Supra is no more

How many shims? I believe its ~1-3psi per shim

I read up about shimming a Supra, and you dont want to/cant go over 3, and it should be temporary anyways. But I'm sure you know that. Anyways, congrats again

upon futher review there is one between the wastegate the other two are on the other side..so I gues its one...in any case its making enough power to spin the car around if I hit it turning a corner...found that out the scary way!
