Default mr2 considered

I was looking to get into the mr2 was wondering of some good sites about them that could give me an idea what it would be like to work on one and build one(of course turbo). Is it expensive? repairs?... and so on, thx.

oh, and never ever read anything on www.mr2.com since it's all out-of-date BS that hasn't been updated since '98.

I think this statement is actually a little too fair for that site

Yes they are expensive to repair. Yes they are a pain in the ass to work on. Yes you will end up getting a beater because you will be sick of replacing rims and suspension componants and simple jobs take forever because you need an abrigate tool to tighten a measily 10mm bolt.

They are wonderful cars to have fun in. When a project comes together and you are driving it, there is no better joy in the world.
