If that thing is RWD, you could probably just drop a 7M-GTE into it. I'm guessing its lighter than the 3200-3400 varied weight of Mk3s, so that would in turn make it faster.

However, if you'd just rather get an Mk3, keep an eye out on autotrader.com

It's a 4cyl version of the MKII supra, same chassis and interior, same shitty ass semi trailing arm IRS, my car needs to much already to think about a motor swap, but a 7m is in the future.....

Never paid too much attention to the life of the Supra before it broke off of the Celica name, however logic shouldve told me that the first FWD Celica was the 4th gen, which that isnt.

However please reconcider swaping your engine to a 2.5 twin turbo Inline6 instead, as I know you will like it more.

 

1J's arn't exactly cost effective, i can do a 7m turbo with lexmaf, 550's, headgasket, 19psi, and full exaust for the price of a 1J front clip. so a 7m is what i planned to do later down the road.
