Take a big drill and go through the side of the head. Theres a square hole behind the exhaust ports for a heater line. Just go through there and drill a hole through that wall between the 2 water passages. And about the thermo housing, to do the coolant reversal you have to run the 16v water pump. You have to block off the back of the head. The whole reason for doing this is so you dont have to cut a big hole in your firewall.

If you want any more info ask me or marksaccord95.

Wait a sec! This IS going in an ae86 right? Because in any other layout you can just do it the normal way.

u dont drill thru the jackets with a bit. get a cut off wheel and cut the space between the 2 jackets on the back of the block so it looks like a rectangle when done. cut the thermo housing in 1/2 and use that as the flange, weld a piece of metal onto the cut housing and use some sealant.

for the side u gotta extend the neck down

run a inline coolant temp sensor, like the HKS 1 pictured and connect that to the top of the radiator. then the bottom will connect to the 16v water pump, gotta modify the outlet on the pump slightly. u wont have a thermostat, but thats fine, it just runs a little shitty when cool but when warm it runs at a cool 169F
