Default Tercel

I just bought a 1993 Tercel for the GF. She currently has a 1990 Chevy Beretta, not sure if it's an upgrade or not, but at least the Tercel has WORKING A/C. I bought the car for $50 by the way The motor may be shot though, I have to look into it some more, I know it was ran hot and low on oil. Is the best/easiest swap for that little car besides stock of course, the 1.5 out of the Paseo?

A 3S-GTE swap is in order! Get a JDM one with VVT-i!

Seriously though, I'd doubt it'd fit and I doubt theres something wrong with the motor. Check the basics, change the oil either way, spark plugs, spark plug wires, etc.

That's what I thought as well on the Paseo, it's a little more peppy though instead of 89hp it's like 100...lol not bad for a 1900 lb car.

My stepdad said it smokes a little bit when you get on it, I think that's very common with these cars though. I'm not all into Toyota's too much. Nothing against them at all, just never had one. I do know the motor is the 3E-E and I believe any of the E series motors will bolt up, engine mounting would have to be changed on some engines of course. But I'm probably not making it anything performance as the GF just wants a daily that has A/C till she saves enough money for a Mustang. Thanks for the link by the way.
