How willing are you to ressurect a dead AE86?
I just remembered at a local "junk"yard in Sarasota (Al's No Bull Pick n Pull) they have a SR5 or GTS Corolla there in the back...two actually, but only one is RWD (checked myself). It has a big smash in the front end, maybe a light pole or a tree, but else it looks okay. If you welded a front clip from Japan you could probably be just fine.

You can find SR5 Shells not wrecked for not that much and not have to go through with the body work .

I rarely see good SR5 these days. many of them are rusted bad. How many people think the original GTS worth mose than SR5-GTS?

i've done a sr5 to gts conversion for a buddy of mine.nowadays its real hard to find a good shape orginal gts.that conversion was alot of work,i rather find a not so bad gts than to do another gts clone from a sr5.
wow, I didnt think the conversion was THAT bad...I believe all SR5s were manual too...or maybe all GTS. I dont know, I'm not much into drifting really, rather a fan of light RWD cars though.
Also, thats not even a "junkyard". They have some good shit in that! An old 80's Bimmer, MkII Supra, 3 Mk3's (2 of them are 86.5-88s, one is an 89 and literally in pristine condition) an old Jaguar that was probably like $30k in its day, and I mean old one. had a nice DOHC I6 still in it. I believe there was also a rolls royce there. Plenty and plenty of Camaros, none of them but one still had the engine (V6, go figure). Plenty of 1G DSM 1.8s too.

Celica Supra. I knew right away when I saw it that it was. Celica and Celica GT-S' look very different from it. I never cared too much for Mk2s, despite their MUCH less weight and almost exact looks of Mk3, a truely beautiful car. Uh oh, are you getting 1JZ ideas? Bad Andy!
