What are some toyota enthusiast forums, I might be picking up an 89 All-Trac corolla wagon, was wondering what potential it has, what type of swaps can be done, what are some common problems with that paticular model.

What are some common problems with that paticular model?
it is not a sports car(that is the only one i can think of)
{but strip it of any interior, take the front axeles out, and you will have a rear wheel drive which is a plus}

 

Actually I want to keep it AWD as it will primarily be used for rally cross. So what motors will bolt to the AWD transmission?

 

I checked Club4ag, Turbocorolla.com, toyotanation, and some others, but most of them just had info on turboing a 4ag, and swaps for other models not an all trac. I am thinking of the 3sgte, but don't know if that will bolt to the awd tranny. Otherwise a high boost 4ag application could work.

 

a supercharged 4agze should bolt up to the tranny depending on what engine is in your car now and would be perfect for rallying. you cant beat the tq output of a superchrged motor.
