i just upgraded to a fmic with a 1g dsm bov
and after i put everthing on and went for a test drive right when i went into boost (7-8psi) it blew off the lower hose.
after i put the lower hose back on the car then idled funny and from then on never went into boost over 1psi
did notice the oil presue was low so i added some oil and drove it again and the idle returned to almost normal but still no boost
it feels like driving a heat soaked turbo veh but it isnt because i just put the fmic on
car is set for 9psi and the bov is running off a vacume hose off of the intake mani from the prong right behind the TB
i feel that the turbo may have blown
but any advise / assistance will be greatly appricated

if the turbo is blow whats a good factory replacement for the stock manifold, any good performance ones?

hmmm, check all the hoses to your new FMIC, and by upgraded to an FMIC did you have an NA, because the mkiii has a stock FMIC. anyway check all of your hoses and what not. as far as turbo upgrades I have a t04b 60-1 turbonetics, w/ a ptrim exhaust it fits right up to my ex. man, just took some fabbing to make it adapt to my intake.

for some reason, when my mk3 blew off an intercooler pipe and i put it back on it didn't run right either. then after replacing the intercooler and most of the piping (with other stock pieces) it still ran like shit. so i replaced the AFM and it ran right again. so if i was u i might try that, after you make sure you have no more boost leaks.
