You need to answer some very simple questions before any of us can tell you anything.

1. what is your budget
2. what is the car to be used for
3. what is your power goal?

Now lots of people will post something like... I want 400whp and fast spool for cheap.. what do i buy..

This dosent work, so keep the redicilous questions to a minimum and use these guidelines.

Cheap and reliable is not fast
Fast and reliable is not cheap
cheap and fast is not reliable

for the power he wants i think a nice GZE swap would be good. even starting with a stock GZE swap you would be around 150hp to the wheels and just start modifing from there. Previa supercharger+440cc injectors+ 12psi pully= over 200 to the wheels easy. prolly around 230 would be my guess, maybe more.

I'm with bill... using mostly stock components with enough fuel and something like Megasquirt to control fuel and spark and you'll most likely end up close to all goals and fairly reliable.. Its kind of an even balance between the 3 situations I posted above.. Where you'll be paying big time is.....

Time finding all those parts...
Putting it together...
Troubleshooting whats wrong..

For Bill and most full time mechanics doing this stuff is easy. but its not something I'd like to deal with personally, however I'd be much more inclined if i lived up north or in ireland. I hate the heat and love the super cold

If you go with GZE, you need to carry a spare t50 on your back seat
