Expensive question bout the engine
or you could be useful TR members and help her out. you spend enough time talking shit and typing senseless drivel that you could have used those wastes of keystrokes on something informative.
dear 14 year old,
it is nice that you are wanting to learn about cars. if you are truly interested in the toyota supra, and planning on (or have a family member thats going to give you one) having one, you should try a google search on the supra. find the edmunds.com site and read up on all the numbers and facts about the car.
for starters, it came with either a 3.0 inline six or (for simplicity's sake) the same motor with a twin turbo setup. if you dont have the twin turbo model, your best bet would be either to buy a single turbo kit, or if you have the money you could even swap in the twin turbo motor, but its probably not worth your time. a v8 would be pretty much pointless in your car, seeing as the potential of the engine in there is already more than enough for you to romp around on the streets. inline 8 engines are few and far between and i believe that design was just too big to fit in any modern day cars but there have been inline 8 motors...back in like 1930s i bet.
also visit www.supraforums.com and read the basic posts (dont post yourself just read) and any archives if there are some. they will usually include FAQs, or Frequently Asked Questions, mostly stuff that's been asked a million times and stuff that you can just search for instead of "bothering" other members about it. some of the veteran members (on any message board) will eventually get tired of hearing and having to answer the same stuff over and over.
i hope that helps you in some way or form, if you indeed have an interest for the supra and plan on having one someday. they are truly nice cars. hopefully, these guys can help you out. i guess they have to take the opportunity to haze the new person and get their hating done and over with.

swap a ls1 you wont or even a 1uz-fe anyone of them would be cool , a v8 will make more low-end tq if that is what you are looking for and you will be one of the coolest supra owners ever , more like standing away from the croud of dyno fags and running some great times.

yall? I'm one person. The question was VERY remedial like Vito already mentioned. Supra's create ALOT of HP with the engine in it. To do an engine swap and possibly downgrade the potential is crazy. and to fit an inline 8 in a supra would be something I would like to see done. fuck, I'd like to see the damn engine NOT in the car... it's kinda rare to see a I-6 unless u got an 80's Bronco or some crazy shit...
Second off. your a kid. You have no income now nor a steady income.. I doubt u have NOR can make the money before you turn 16 unless like posted in the other thread u pimp yourself out...
Third you ignorantly said u had a 93 supra was it? Not to mention maintenance and upgrades on this vehicle. do yourself a favor and look at first generation Rex's.... thats more of your price range.. lotta mechanical shit and upkeep but ALOT cheaper to start off with.. your not realistic with the things you want and thats something you will learn qwik once u grow up and actually understand or even BEGIN to see how life REALLY works and is..
Third... ur gunna wreck whatever you drive.. Florida Drivers suck ass... no one in this fuggin state can drive...
get a beater...

New Chevy colorados have em too. I've seen one out of the engine bay in person. Doubt it'd ever been run.
