Smurf's Supra, v.2
Depends if you do it yourself or not and where you get the kit from. Andy up there did it for around $3k I believe with the car included, though there was a fire in the engine bay. Oh just let him tell you about it

yea, i paid 1500 for my car with a fried 7mgte. got the clip from jarco for 2600 and did all the work myself. i added a stage 3 rps clutch($410)
intake($25)
trust 3inch downpipe($240)
3inch cat remover($55)
greddy 3inch catback($500)
poly solid motor mounts($250)
with just those mods it dyno'ed 320ish to the wheels(i had a fuel cut problem{bad connection in my harness})
also swapped the rear diff from the jza70, the fuel pump, and the hydro fan. all came with the clip. jarco rules.
i want 400whp on stock twins. the problem is that you run the risk of killing the turbine wheels if you boost it past 14-15psi.
so a good y-pipe with divorced wastgates, some JUN 272 cams, gears, springs, and retainers to raise redline to 8500, and some safc tuning, it could do it on 13-14psi and still remain safe.
the thing about keeping the stock twins is that they spool@2500rpm. and really never have lag. they provide streetable power that is always on tap right then, no waiting. thats why i want to stick with them for a while.

He forgot to mention full boost @ 2500. Honestly, after being in the car, I think its BS. Its actually sooner than that
It takes a few tries to see when they actually make full boost, because its just so soon...and like I said that clutch grabs balls man! We're going down the 1/4 mi and damn, thats nice! Speaking of reliable, you obviously dont know 1JZ's reputation. I'm waiting for something to break on his 1JZ.
So you decided to stick with the stock twins then, huh? Its going to take ~2 years before I can finally get a twin turbo Mk3, after I get a Disco Potato for the Passat I'm going to start an online store for Toyota parts mostly to fund the Supra fund-o-meter.
