Yes thats right were having a local celica or toyota enthusiast meet on Saturday April the 10th @ the Best Buy parking lot in Brandon at Noon. I know I don't have a high post count here but a few members from celica.net and newcelica.org will be there. On celica.net I post as NiCa.

Sorry guys that kinda sucks. As far as it being in brandon, whats the big deal? its right off the interstate. Its no more than 20minutes if you live in tampa. I don't see why anyone would complain. Sunday sounds better i guess but it's been made on sat. Maybe the next one will be on sunday. Do you have anything done to your 89 GTS?

Ah, I'm down in Pinellas so Tampa is a good bit away from me.

And yes, 89 GT-S's had the 1st gen 3SGE.

 

I don't have much done just custom exaust, intake, stage II clutch, I had bought it with no engine so I found an engine with low miles(86000) and took it apart cleaned it replaced all the gaskets and pullies, then put it back together. Next stop is the turbo system from the mr2 that my boy jake will do for me, along with a custom intake manifold. And yes it is a 3sge first gen engine.

Good Idea, I totally forgot about that site. Actually I've never seen a st-185 in my life. Thats sad I knew i was forgetting a site. Oh yeah about it being in brandon, well last time i tried to organize a meet I made it out in North Tampa and I had to drive 30 minutes to get there. In the end it was just me my 2 friends that came down from ocala and 2 members from newcelica.org. It sucked driving that long for only 2 new people to show up. This time I don't really mind if people don't show up, but I'm really hoping you guys can make it.
