i have a 93 mr2 turbo w/ 100k miles. the car is in great condition but lately it seems to be getting worse and worse as far as throttle response and idling. for a while it was giving a problem where i would drive through any gear let off the gas and put it in neutral and the cars RPMs would just drop and the car would turn off. i figured it was the BOV and tightened it a lil more and it seemed to fix the problem somewhat. now the car is just always idling arond 500 rpms when warm and 700 when i first turn it on. i have no vacuum leaks and have no clue what it could possibly be...could the BOV be causing this? any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

i wish it was my driving...but im pretty sure that its the BOV thats shot. i have that type-s danny gave me but i cant find a damn adapter for it

 

i'm sure it is your bov! dont you have the stock one to put back on?

 

Ive heard that the Turbo XS has done this on occasion, go back to stock or put the type s on

 

I have a spare stocker if you need one.

 

haha its all good guys the BOV is shot but the BOV wasnt causing this my cousin thought it would be "funny" to fuk around w/ my super afc...

 

oh man, that means death. instead of a idle problem he could have been responsable for a nice usless motor in your garage.
