would anyone know anything about swapping a 5sfe out and putting in a 3sgte into a camry???

 

camryman.org and toyotanation.com had some things awhile ago about it.

 

yea nobody there is helping me out right now. my engine needs to be fixed but i can swap it cheaper than i can fix it. so i wanted to put something more powerful in.

 

i wouldnt see why not....im sure it would need some fabrication here or there but it shouldnt be too hard. give ss a call maybe they can help you.

they put them into celicas all the time(celica posts might help to). Ive been looking swap one in mine. i know the awd tranny wont work but a v6 camry/solara tranny will bolt to it. and depending if youre gonna put it in yourself or have a shop do it look to be spending anywhere from 3 to 5 grand to get it in and running.

You can put a 3S turbo manifodla and stuff onto a 5S head . People do ti all the time
