Hey all,
I've just got the AEM MR2 kit on my car. (Yaaaa! Finally!!) Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else has the unit on the forum and is willing to share some info on how thier tuning thier unit. I've already had couple of problems with the thing from the get go. The power steering doesn't work because you gotta unplug one of the wires from the wiring harness or something. Call AEM for more details. The voltage setting for the fuel pump was a little iffy as well. It turns out that the setting would decrease the voltage to the fuel pump. Other than that the base map that came with the car is pretty good. But the idle is terrible! The idle on the base map is completely rich. Its like mashing the gas all the way! Its that rich for idle!! Anyway, I know the map wasn't intended for anything other than to drive to a dyno for a more thorough map and I'm giving a shout out to the tampa community for some help on the matter. If anyone has experience with the unit and is willing to create a better base map then the job is available .

Can I ask what you paid for the ecu? What supporting mods do you have? What fuel injectors did you use?
